So Excited!

So, I had a super awesome experience a couple weeks ago. Thanks to some awesome friends and some prodding from my awesome wife and my musical brother LeMonjello, I got to get into a real studio and get some recording done on some original music. We laid down three songs.  It felt amazing! I’ve been playing covers solo acoustic for a long time and it felt so good to get in the studio with a band and be creative. Thank you so much to All Access Recording for letting me get all up in there and make some music. Thank you so much to Ronnie Dee! So good to see you brother! Thank you for making me feel welcome and for relieving many of my anxious thoughts right in the beginning. You know me so well. Thank you to Doug Johnston for your expertise, your wisdom, and your patience! You are not only a master engineer, but a super cool guy to hang out with and swap stories. You made me feel at ease in the studio and I thank you for everything. Thank you also Matt Poynter Drummer extraordinaire! You are the man. I had never met Matt until the session. I've heard amazing things about his playing and how cool a dude he is and it’s all true and then some. You are a beast on the drums and super easy to work with. You are a true professional and I hope we get to do more work together in the future. I wanna mention Lemonjello again. He has been telling me for years we have to do some recording. My anxieties kept me making excuses. Thank you for being persistent. Thank you for pushing me out of my comfort zone. Thank you for calling in favors. Thank you for being there. You are an amazing musician, engineer, friend and my brother. I love you dude. Thank you!!! This experience exceeded my imagination! The creative juices are flowing and I can’t wait to finish. I'm going back in about two weeks to lay down the rest of the guitars and vocals.  I really think fans old and new will enjoy these jams. Stay tuned to the website and Facebook Josh Horton's Music Page for updates. Thank you everybody. #thankyoumusic.
